How do I nicely ask a guy to shave down there?

Ok so yes I know this may sound shallow to some guys and whatever, but please answer honestly and dont be mean.

Ok so my boyfriend and I recently started getting sexually active. He ALWAYS wants me to give him a bj, I have no problem doing this but he has a ton of pubic hair down there. By the way I have shaven down there, I thought he would naturally do it too once he seen I was. I've tried to hint toward it by saying I wasn't a huge fan of the hair he has just before his private parts on his stomach. I now hate giving him a bj because he still won't shave down there, and I dont wanna hate it every time. I love him and I dont wanna be mean but is there any way I could nicely ask him to shave down there?

Hmmmm,

You would think that leading by example would work. Well you may have to "suggest" that it would be "hotter for you" if he did a little manscaping. Just plant the idea in his head that way he thinks he came up with the idea. This way it avoids hurt feelings or any anxiety for him. I am of course speaking from personal experience. That should be all the encouragement he needs to wacky down that 70s muff he is sporting. If you approach it casually and in a playful way you will most likely get a positive response. It's part of growing up, so if you are comfortable with having sex with him, then you should be comfortable with talking about your needs with him. Once you do I'm sure it will be better for both of you. A lot of younger guys have it stuck in their head that men don't trim or shave yet they expect women to do it. So this should be a good way to start communicating your own desires with him that will open up a whole new world of fun and communication that will benefit both of you.

It isn't really mean to say "if you want me to keep blowing you, you need to shave" that way the ball is in his court.. You aren't forcing him to do it, but he is losing out if he doesn't... I don't get why anyone would want to have a crotch forest...

Buy some Noxzema "Shave and Trim" shavers and a can of unscented shave cream. These special shavers have special teeth that prevent them from shaving all the way down to the skin. This is important as it not only helps to prevent nicks and cuts (I've never nicked or cut him) it also prevents ingrown hairs. Shave his public area for him including his balls. When shaving his balls, use one hand to stretch the area being shaved flat while you shave it with the other. Have a cup of water beside you to wiggle the shaver around in and clean off with each stroke of the shaver. Use as many shavers as needed. They cut really well. Two should do it. Shave him once a week and you'll only need to use one (and it'll be a lot easier).

Maybe try bathing together and offer to shave or trim it for him and then reward him cooperating? Then he'll have positive reinforcement and you'll have him started on doing it himself.

I'd shave right now if I could get a bj. However, shaving can be very itchy on the balls. I don't know if I would keep that up the rest of my life. If he has a bush down there maybe you could at least get him to trim it short to allow full "shaft" access so it isn't in your nose. I hate when I go down on a girl and end up with hair in my nose. Although, I am not a big fan of shaven ones. Seen too many razor cuts and ingrown hairs. That's grosser than hair.
