Why are gay men more attractive than straight men?

So I was talking to this girl and she was like "Ooooh, I really like gay guys" and I said "You are aware that they don't like you?" and she said "I don't care!" and I said "You really need to use commas between phrases if you're going to communicate like this; it's hard to read these texts esp. when you consider the errors relating to quotations." and she said "STFU B." and I got offended and then we sexted. Basically what I want to know is if sexting is better if I pretend I'm a gay man.

  • I dont think this is true and you are generalizing. All gay men are not going to be attractive and all straight men are not going to be attractive. Its not that gay men are more attractive than straight men, its all a matter of your perception.

    I have noticed that some gay guys are attractive, but its not the gay factor that attracts me. Its the fact that they are men and they look good. Just as good as a straight guy who looks good. If you took a photo of an attractive gay guy and an attractive straight guy just smiling (non sexual) then there is no way for a woman to know which one is straight or gay through a photo. In her eyes she only sees attractive men. Now when you get up close to a gay guy and talk to him and see his mannerism then you can tell if he is gay, however not all gay guys have the stereotypical gay behavior and they act just like a straight man.

    Its kind of like how straight men find lesbians attractive. Of course they are not going to be attracted to all lesbians, especailly not the butch ones just like they are not going to be attracted to all straight women. Its more of the fact that they are just attracted to good looking women. Lesbians are still women after all. And gay men are still men

    The gay men that i think are attractive are the ones who are tall, broad sholders, nice hair, clean face. But i would like a straight guy who looks like that too.

  • Just be yourself but take more time/focus on your hygiene, grooming, & choice of clothing. I too have been attracted to a gay man. How clean and nicely dressed/groomed he was, is what attracted me. He wasn't the flamboyant or cross dressing type. With most people, it's all about appearance until they get to know your personality.

It happens quit often, its a touchy topic, but I think a lot of gay guys (not the the flamboyant or cross dressing type) over-masculate themselves to conceal their secret of being gay or too make others feel more comfortable, because they really have the Alpha Male characteristics down pack, but once they're more comfortable with you, a more feminine side emerges. It's all about trust & respect. So don't manipulate the ladies, just be yourself. If you're not what they want cool, move on to the next one. It really is plenty of fish in the sea :)

Many gay men tend to take better care of their physique, and without being too stereotypical, many have a better sense of fashion and personal grooming than your average straight guy. So gay guys who fit that description sometimes do appeal to straight women.

  • Gay men are gay for a reason. They are in no way attractive to me and they don't find me attractive (in that way).
