I am 16 and have been going out with this girl for 4 months now, we kiss and make-out but we never do anything further than that and she always holds off when i try to make a move. Its been a while now and we talked about it 2 months ago and she said she's not ready yet. She gets kinda mad when i bring it up so i try not to, but I wanna reach that level of intimacy with her. The girl is quite religious (christian) and she also has never done anything with any other guy before. She is quite passionate when making out but how do I make her comfortable with going further than that?

You can't make her get comfortable. It's something she has to come to on her own and there's no rushing it. I recommend you abandon the mindset of feeling the need to persuade her, for your own protection. Eventually you may end up violating a girl without even realizing it. Remember that if you need to convince her, it's not consent.

To answer your question, you guys are young and 4 months isn't nearly long enough for her to be comfortable with this, particularly if she's religious and inexperienced. You can talk to her about it every couple months or so just to stay updated with what's on and off the table. But she'll be more comfortable with you the less you pressure her.
