It seems that a lotta girls are hesitant to use tinder for its true purpose: DTF or at least to cuddle. I recently matched with a girl on Tinder, and we finally tried to arrange meeting up after she flaked on me: she shows up at the bar with a group of her friends, and I wasn't with anyone, tho I was earlier elsewhere. Long story short: why did she have to be so wishy washy? Also, we're both grad students at a large university. No one cares how popular you are now that grad school lacks frats/sororities.

Sounds like she was just nervous to meet some random guy alone. Don't think too much into that. And depending what a girl wants on tinder, and what attracts her is different for every girl. Some girls might be attracted to the smoking pierced tattoo guy. And some girls are just looking for a hookup. Personally I'm looking for someone to talk to, someone with a great smile, usually athletic and someone im attracted too. And it doesn't hurt if you have a good bio too.

Well I still think she was just nervous to meet you alone. Talking online is one thing, you could lie about anything and everything. but when you're about to meet In person, then who knows if you were telling the truth, if you might rape her (I'm sure you wouldn't but it is a rational fear). It's honestly a safety thing (there is safety in numbers)

I'm sorry, but you really should understand that it's hard for women to trust strangers from online these days. I know you probably aren't going to rape her, but it happens all the time. You might not hear about it, but I gaurentee she has heard stories. It's not like she stood you up, she just showed up with friends.

we met last night... we matched on Tinder months ago, Tinder deleted my matches, and we matched again a few weeks ago. We texted since the recent match so I don't know what to do without being a too forward.
