Didn't expect to find this one. I realize teen sex is common, but I don't really condone anyone under 20 being involved in sex. At all.

In fact, in two different books I'm working on, it's a teenage girl's decision to consummate the relationship with her boyfriend that ruins her life. In one, it's a basic teen pregnancy that puts a wedge between her and her mother. In another, her being distracted by sex leads to her failure as a superhero to intercept and foil a staged riot that leads to several homes being set on fire. Worse, when her boyfriend's home is bombed as they're getting dressed after a really steamy session of sex that she is certain will result in pregnancy, they have to escape out of his bedroom window. He runs one way to find his older brother - who quickly deduces what he's been doing with his girlfriend. And he admits to it. She runs another way, to check on her sister and get her suit on. She instead gets stopped by police, who mistake her for one of the rioters. She's arrested on the spot.

Then aliens put a force field around her small hick town, taking it hostage Dark Knight Rises style. Since it's 2015 in southern Indiana and she's now a recently-arrested orphan teen that has just been made de-facto homeless, she's now 95% confident that she's going to juvie.

By the story's end, her identity is exposed, and she does go to juvie. Because the government doesn't like the fact that she explained some of her gear and how it works to local police, which ruined their cover-up attempt.

Her boyfriend's family forces him to break up with her so they can move to Oregon, though he's not happy about it. And lets her know he's open to taking her back as soon as she gets out and he's an adult - if she'll take him back. (They don't realize that in part 3, he's going to fall off a mountain and die.)

So she ends the story as an orphan pregnant teen in a juvenile prison for an insane reason, unable to tell her older sister the truth because of fear of judgment for fornication (her sister is ultra-conservative, no hoeing under this roof type). Her godfather knows the truth. He still loves her like a daughter, but lets it be known he can't condone her actions.

Realizing the mess she's made, because pursuing sex made her irresponsible, she lets the police take her away. She is overwhelmed with shame, beats herself up over it, miscarries, and becomes really depressed. Guards even put her on suicide watch at one point.

But as prone to lust as she is, Candi would never do it in a parking lot. That's too slutty, even for her. It's canon though, that they did it at school after hours a few times. Science lab, library, under the bleachers, girls' locker room.

Consensual sex in the shower, especially as a twisted sort of revenge on the man that raped her in the locker room of her old middle school when she was 12, denying her control of when her first time would be. (She was also angry with the cops, who let the rapist get away. And the DA, who decided her case was unimportant.). This was her idea of taking back control. Though, the catharsis didn't last. In time, she'd learn that sex alone would never make her whole, no matter who she had it with.

She's done it with her multiple boyfriends in many places. But never a parking lot!
