It would often be difficult or even impossible. You often have to KNOW in advance if you're going to pull out. Once you pass a certain threshold, even if you haven't actually cum yet, you can't really control it.
And if you're near that point, it definitely doesn't feel as good to pull out. Normally when you do that, you pull out before you're SUPER close, and get yourself the rest of the way by hand. It's different - still good but partially for other reasons (the visuals and the sexiness of where you shoot), but also because you don't interrupt those critical final seconds before through the 10-15 seconds during/after. Any interruption during that period is hugely frustrating.
It's tricky to time it EXACTLY. It's fairly easy to pull out before cumming, but as soon as you do, all stimulation stops completely, so unless one of you is doing SOMETHING with his dick, he might not climax, and that's disappointing to say the least. The closer he gets to ejaculation, the more difficult it is because any movement, in or out, can pull the trigger. So yeah, possible, but difficult.

For me it actually feels better when I do pull out and it always has. Before my vasectomy I used to always pull out unless I was using a condom. But I still pull out 95% of the time even though I am sterile. It's just easier to clean up afterwards. ;-)
Ok, it is hard to pull out before cumming ONLY because we know how much better it will feel to stay inside. But my ex used to give me head or "finnish me off" if I pulled out too early so it wasn't bad at all.
And if the guy is smart and doesn't want to risk pregnancy he shouldn't have a problem pulling out.

Not hard at all to do it. But very disappointing, and sometimes it can already be too late. that is not something that should be left up to the last minute to decide/say.
It isn't hard to pull out but it will be painful if you catch him right as he is cuming. since he can't properly complete the process. not sure why you wouldn't let him finish but I know I would be pretty pissed off about it.
