I actually find hentai more appealing than real p*rn for some reason, especially since I've never really been into real p*rn . Why would you care about the "overall look of the girls" if you're straight? Why is it women don't seem to understand being straight these days? I am in Japan and hentai is everywhere, here. All of the popular hentai series has a manga (comic book) version which is just as explicit. I started watching hentai at an early age, out of curiosity. That is not unusual, here. All of my girl friends at the time were watching it, too. You might be surprised, but there is a lot of hentai that would appeal to girls. Most of the hentai you see in western countries is about women getting tied up and raped by tentacle monsters and demon creatures, such as in "La Blue Girl". 🙄 All hentai is NOT like that. (Lesbian/bi romance). Another thing I got into is watching hentai with "taboo" themes. I have a decent collection of hentai movies and about 75% of it is not allowed to be sold outside of Japan. I don't understand the perception in the west that girls are not supposed to watch hentai. 🤷. I don't think their boyfriends would mind at all.

That's just my case. I don't like a lot of regular anime, but some hentai are specifically more interesting. I would love to have a girlfriend who liked hentai. It's not weird, but people who don't like it, watch it, understand it, know it may think it's strange. So, I would think carefully before telling anyone, as u did. I think that if it's your boyfriend, you should talk to him about it. I don't think he would be pissed, or ashamed, or mad, or anything.
