Is there any proof of Marilyn Monroe being a whore?

So today I did some research on Marilyn Monroe because I was interested to find out more about her. I notice that most people label her as a whore. These people claim she was a prostitute and she slept with different guys etc. My question is why I try researching this but there no actual good proof just media saying she was and random websites. Can someone give good proof that she was instead of using media as their source? I find it funny how people just assume they know what she been doing when we don't, just because the media said she did doesn't make it true. A pure example where the media lied about someone was the black dahlia if you don't know who she is, she was brutally murdered and she got famous from her death. Her case is cold but during the time where they were trying to find out who killed her the media were claiming she was a prostitute in the papers. Guess what it turns out there no actual proof that the black dahila was ever a prostitute. So because of that reason that's why I have a hard time believing the media about Marilyn because they lied before about black dahlia who says their not about Marilyn and you can't always believe people on the internet so many people like to spread miss infomation anyone want to proof why marilyn is a whore???

Marilyn was like many, many women who come to Hollywood: they have a desire to be a star and be loved/famous/rich, but they are just like a million other girls who want the same thing. They have no money, no power, and no connections, and often have a limited amount of talent (compared to those near the top of the talent scale - the 1% of Hollywood whose names you actually know).

They can either become waitresses and try to go to auditions and classes during the day, and take bit parts here and there for almost no money, hoping one day to get noticed, or they can try the "fast track" by using the one thing they have that appeals to middle-aged-and-older men who are rich and powerful already: their young, supple bodies.

It's no real secret that Marilyn slept her way to the top of Hollywood, but that probably only meant 5-10 men - and probably closer to 5 than 10. Back then, men were much more powerful in the business world, and sexual issues were almost always swept under the rug - an actress who complained publicly would get blacklisted, unable to get work at any studio. Unless you showed up with the talent and the following to negotiate from a position of strength, most women ended up on the casting couch at least a few times, and for many, it was no big deal - just "part of the process." I believe that was largely how Marilyn felt, based on what I've read.

I don't know that that makes her a "whore", but it was certainly trading sex for "consideration" in the acting world.

This kind of thing still happens today, but today it's just as likely to be the woman who initiates it. Certainly some men still do, but many women would rather sleep with a few men than take the long, hard road to the top by being a waitress and part-time "actress/intern."

Well Marilyn Monroe had an affair with JFK who was married everyone knows that and as for the Black Dahlia she might not have been a prostitute but she was know for sleeping around as an aspiring actress trying to get a break in the industry.
