Everyone has their own definition. It may or may not be sex but it is close enough that I don't care if there is a difference. A woman claiming to be a virgin that has given a hand job to 50 guys might as well had sex with all of them for all the difference it makes to me. To be blunt I would think she was a slut, even though others might consider her a virgin. That isn't a double standard, that is just my personal feelings about sexuality.

For me sex is something you only do with someone you love. If she gave a single hand job to some random guy she met that day, then it would bother me. Even if she had sex with more than one man, but was in a loving relationship with each them at the time, I would be fine with that. What is important to me is that she shares my sense of morality about sex. It is not about if she has been with a guy before me or not. A hand job to completion would be considered a sexual act. It would be considered sex as much as a blowjob would be considered sex... it was stimulation of a sexual organ to orgasm. It wouldn't be sexual intercourse though, and it wouldn't be something that would affect a definition like 'virgin'. If the only definition of sex involved a penis entering a vagina, lesbians would never have sex. So a conversation about hand jobs qualifying would need to include a discussion of the definition of sex for the conversation.
