Why do guys like fucking as many girls as possible?

I had a reunion with some college friends and since apparently the main thing we remembered most from college was the wild casual sex. So we told stories about our adventures and who did who and had a great time. We girls all said we had an aweful lot of fun, but also built up a serious list of partners, which we ourselves don't care about, but the rest of the world does. Then the guys said that for them it's the opposite. The more girls they fucked, the better they feel. They don't call it scoring pussy for nothing. The guys said that it's because "guys need to spread their seed". They all admired this one guy who fucked an incredible amount of girls during college. Deffinitely over 50 girls! He fucked me and all my friends who looked good, often more than once, and we admit that the sex with him was probably the best we ever had and will have. Two of the guys at the reunion used to live in the same dorm, and they said that he was fucking a girl almost every night! And they said it was mostly the kind of girl they could only dream of even talking to. And it's true, we girls too didn't think of him as a man whore, but kind of admired him for it and made him even more attractive, as weird as it may seem. This is not only my opinion, it was all of my friends' as well. And the guys of course wanted to be exactly like him. So how come guys hae this urge to fuck as many girls as possible? Is it a mental thing to boost their ego? Or a biological reason as in "spreading their seed"?

    Basically if girl like that kissed me, I got no value from it as it was already handed out freely and there is no guarantee that she wouldn't do it again ever.

  • There's no "biological need". Men generally have higher sex drives. We like sex and we won't say no if an opportunity shows itself.
    It's easier to notch it off as a requirement in life because it's hard to accept that lust is an addiction to the pleasure of sex. That you're being controlled against your will to pursue a drug.

    Sex isn't that much different than binging on fatty foods, playing a video game for six hours straight, or being an alcoholic. To me, someone that gets ass every night is like knowing a friend that drinks a liter of vodka every night. Impressive. Maybe even fun. But once the novelty is gone, it's depressing.

    • I honestly don't think it got him depressed. He's pretty successful in life and since he's not the type to marry or have kids, not having a steady partner isn't a problem. And I'm pretty sure he could get a steady partner if he wanted to.
