Girls, how to stop getting so wet?

Sorry for the possible TMI, but, I need advice on how to stop getting so wet so easily. Honestly it's really annoying and sometimes its so much that it literally feels like I'm on my period. I honestly don't understand why its so much. Ik that the vagina naturally cleanses it's self and its normal but usually, when this happens, it's because I think of something hot (randomly) and it feels like I'm wetting my pants. Any ideas on how to stop this from being so excessive or how to concentrate on something else. It didn't use to be this bad until like a few months ago, like I can literally be doing ANYTHING, and this will happen. I'm 15 by the way. Thanks in advance🌚.

  • It definitely sounds horomonal. It sounds like your body just has more hormones than other people. Which is completely normal. I have the same problem. But its gotten to the point where I don't even have to be thinking about anything sexual to start getting super wet for no apparent reason. Unfortunately there is not one thing you can do to prevent this. I have visited my gyno and they have told me that it is very common and there is nothing they can really do to stop it aside from putting you on a birth control that has hormones in it. They have the pill form birth control with the added hormones that actually work against your natural hormones. It helps decrease some of the problem but it will still be there. Also, I found that the specific pill they gave me caused me to gain massive amounts of weight and it took me months after stopping the pill to get back to my normal size (115 pounds). So I would not recommend that you go on a birth control pill to help with the wetness, just based off my personal experience. I Aldo have noticed that certain fabric underwear cause my problem to be more severe. Try staying away from lace panties. It makes it so much more uncomfortable. Try using cotton panties instead because it makes you feel cleaner and overall is more comfortable. Yogurts help lessen the problem as well. Actually, any dairy product helps but I prefer yogurt where it is less fattening then milks or cheeses. Hopefully this helps you out! And good luck!

    • Thanks for the advice. Lots of info😊.

  • Ask a doctor, or if you don't want to be that direct with a doctor go on the pill. It sounds a hormonal thing to me. Does it happen throughout the month or more so on the week before your period?

    • It happens all throughout the month, not just the week before my period.
