Has anyone on here ever been a pornstar?

Please don't judge but I'm thinking of trying to go into the industry and I was wondering if anybody had ever been involved. And beleive me I know the risks

  • Your reputation will haunt you forever. You say you know the risks, but do you know all of them? Do you eventually want to settle down with a decent guy? If you do, then avoid what you propose at all costs. There was recently a question about guts dating ex-prostitutes. This is one step further. Not very many decent guys would want to hear, "There's that guy whose dating that porn star so-and-so".

    You will probably end up with no family or friends except those in the industry. And they are only after one thing!!

    • Well one advice: don't become a sex worker, ESPECIALLY NOT a pornstar. You have no say in that industry. Girls who escort themselves without a pimp or agency behind them are much better off. As an escort you're the boss, you decide how far you go, you work with condoms (most porn stars aren't eallowed to even protect themselves with condoms) and how much anything extra will cost the customer. Everything has a price. Your hourly rate is just basic sex, you can charge extra for oral, bondage, pegging, fingerg, etc. This is not the case in the porn industry. There the agency and the porn producer decide (or force) you to do what they want to see you do. And next to that you're on film for everyone to see for the rest of not only your life but for all eternity as long as himans and internet exist. At least being an escort is far more discrete. And most porn stars work also as escorts to make ends meet as competition is very strong. So you'll probably end up in escort anyway.
