I broke up with my boyfriend a couple of days ago and I'm bumbed out about it cause he was a good guy, but we were too different. Well anyways, now i don't have anyone to have sex with and I feel awk going up to a person and asking them for sex. I want to have sex with a guy, but I don't want to have a one night stand with a random guy and i don't think i should be in a relationshipjust yet because i still have feelings for my ex. im thinking a fuck buddy, but I don't know how to approach a guy and ask him to be that.

Don't listen to anyone that says "it's easy, tell the guy that you wanna sex up, that he should come over".

Assuming you've already vetted the ideal partner, ensured he is single, in your league, and looked into whether or not he's a sociopath.

But don't be cutesy and flirty, treat him like a peer, coworker or classmate.

Turn the conversation towards sexual endeavors, eventually stating your situation.
BUT not as a plea for sex, more of a "matter of fact" statement that you don't have anyone to fill the void anymore.

If he's attracted & single, he should offer his services, unless he's super shy, then you may have to buy another round.

If it's still like pulling teeth, don't force it. Move on to your 2nd place candidate.
Chances are you'll already be comfortable with the conversation the 2nd time around.
