Why do guys smack a girls ass during sex? And do women like it? And if you do, why?

I have always wondered why men smack a girls ass during sex? And I have always wondered why girls either like it or let the guy do it. Any opinions on this is appreciated. A couple of guys have done this before to me if I did not warn then not to. I was on all 4's in those cases and I looked back at him, reached around and punched him in the stomach and told him do not ever do that to me again.   • Honestly, it's not something I'd do on my own, but every girl I've ever been with has asked me to do it. Some of them have actually wanted it hard because they enjoyed the pain. Others didn't want it particularly hard, but liked the idea of being dominated and so the act itself, even if it was light, went along with that.
