Are women bisexual (if you say women masturbating to lesbian porn doesn't make them sexually attracted to women, then you have to agree that people that masturbate to child porn aren't paedophiles, since a paedophile is by defintion someone who is sexually attracted to children) and in a purely sexual sense more attracted to women, but generally chose men as a preference for non sexual reasons? or is female sexuality so narcissistic that they are more attracted to themselves than men?

That's a quite interesting subject. I've read something about it some time ago. I have two theories.

1) Lesbian porn is by far more focused on the woman and her orgasm. How many times do you see that in straight porn? It's all about the man, women are screaming and moaning in the fakest ways and sometimes it even looks painful for them when they do certain things.
A lot of straight porn doesn't even show the man and only shows the woman, so let's say women need to work with what they have.

Women don't get aroused watching other girls have sex because they're bisex/lesbian, they simply relate to the pleasure, whether it's between two women or a man and a woman or even two men (some girls like that too, believe it or not). It's more about everything that straight porn lacks and lesbian porn has. Passion, sweetness, the focus on women.

2) There's also the society factor. Men are much more homophobe or at least very bothered by the thought of even seeing another naked man that they could never get aroused watching gay porn. And that's because men are labelled as gay as soon as they do something a little less masculine. Could you ever see a man wearing a skirt without thinking he's gay? No. What are two girls kissing each other to the eyes of people? Sexy. What are two men kissing each other to the eyes of people? Gross.

Women are a lot more sexualized than men. We see naked women everywhere, tv, advertisement on the streets, even girls you meet at clubs wear clothes 10 times more revealing than men. What do you think about when you see a woman's boobs? Sex. We all think about sex because society has taught us to do so. What happens when we see a man's penis? The answer is easy, we just never see it.

Does this mean women and men's sexuality is different? Nope. Women are only a lot less inhibited than men are when it comes to these sexual boundaries.

Most of what you said are simply reasons for their sexuality, as in girls being sexualized is a reason for women being sexualy attracted to other women, it doesn't mean they aren't. Women are sexualized by the media for innate biological reasons not the other way around. And yes female and male sexuality is vastly different, anybody in the appropriate field will tell you that. If women aren't sexualy attracted to other women, they have an extremely narcissist sexuality, that would make the guy from American psycho look normal and modest.

As in the female body is utilitarian in the sense that it's main use it to attract men, while women are hardly sexually attracted to the male body, read bateman's principle etc the female body is innately a sex objects. Women make up 60% of the viewing audience in the west nowadays, if they wanted to view the male body sexually as much as men wanted to view the female body sexually it would be just as sexualized as it would be profitable. It's not that hard to do. Look in any journal articles of scientific research you can find conflicting information on a vast majority of topics. Many people don't have enough knowledge on how research articles get published. It's very easy to do. Me or several of my friends that conduct research could do it without breaking a sweat. But of course as an anthropology major you must be an expert in journal/scientific research articles.
