Leave the lights on. You need him to be able to find the correct parts without having to do a lot of feeling around and such. That would create nervousness and awkwardness. He should be able to see them directly and go directly to them. Please don't worry about imperfections. Everyone has imperfections of all types, even models. The photographers just air brush them away (photoshop them now days).
hmm hide a bit with make up? i got some acne there as well almost every girl does because of shaving, you should tell him that you're insecure because of that and when he tells you that he doesn't give a damn then let him do it he won't be looking at your acne when doing it :)
If your boyfriend cares about you at all I'm sure he isn't going to care, I'm certain he himself isn't the perfect physical example of a man so how could he rightfully judge you? But I wouldn't worry about it, he's with you and he wants to do it, you will just have to be more trusting of your boyfriend, like I said, if he cares for you he isn't going to care, or he will be completely fine and content with how you are down there.
