Use plenty of lubricating gel, like KY or similar. Fingers only until you are used to it. Then maybe full sex. Even then, be very, very gentle and take your time.
If you do it unprotected, do not go from anal to vaginal!! Vaginal to anal is OK. Make sure he washes his penis very well straight after.
