What is it with men who adjust their stuff in public?

I see many guys who adjust them in public.  It’s simply bad manners. But why they do that?

multiple reasons... what if your penis is facing down and you're starting to get an erection.. not shifting it to the side or upwards can cause some pain, and a tent in your pants... or hair gets caught in forskin and its pulling... or your foreskin is pulled back and the friction is hurting the head... or your balls ( which really go all over the place) are in an uncomfortable/ painfull position..

long story short, people werent meant to wear clothes especially ones that restrict the movement of genitals that lay outside the body, they shift, they move, they go erect a few times a day... it needs adjusting from time to time.

It gets very uncomfortable when your underwear sits in such a way that it holds your man part in an awkward way. This is one of the reasons men do it to adjust themselves. I see girls do this all the time in front of me to they grab hold of their actual ass crack in jeans or what ever they are wearing and pull on it just wondering what do you think of that?

It can get pretty uncomfortable pretty fast if stuff starts getting pinched down there and I mean it's not like there's always a bathroom within 5 feet of you. I don't really think anyone should be making a big deal out of something like that I mean I would really try not to do it in the middle of a conversation or meeting lol.

Its different reasons, but for me its that being uncircumcised, sometimes my foreskin get shifted or pulled in the wrong way and it gets uncomfortable. Sometimes it can also be a random erection, and you just want to push it over a little so its not noticeable.

There's a lot of equipment to manage and it often needs readjusting. I feel like there's a macho stereotype kind of guy that is constantly grabbing his dick, but most guys just adjust from time to time. I can try to be a little less obvious about it but it's pretty much futile to think that you can complete hide it. It's not like I'm going to find a bathroom everytime I have to adjust. So while I try not to be awkward or blatantly adjusting with people around (especially in more professional or formal settings), if I really need to then I'm just going to casually do it and if people notice and stare at my junk or whatever then I'm ok with that - and if they really don't like it then they can avert their eyes.
