I've only had real life experience with one guy so I can't speak for every penis but his doesn't flop when completely hard it sticks straight up or out when he's standing. Maybe the guys in the porn are only semi hard. I've noticed in the shower if he's semi hard it will be the same size as being hard but it doesn't stick out it hangs like being soft but isn't as limp as a soft penis but not as firm as a hard one either.
