Ok so I've been blackmailed on kik and I don't know what to do. Please help?

Ok so I've been blackmailed on kik and I don't know what to do. This girl messaged me saying "want to play a game" I said "sure" she said ok send a nude picture of you with your face in it, I said ok and sent one. She then said send one with a peace sign so I know you're real I said ok and sent one. She then asked for my email/Facebook so she can send one back. I was a little odded out by this but sent her my email, she claimed she couldn't find it so I sent her an alternate email and said you couldn't find that one either. I then sent her my Facebook but quickly realized it was a bad idea and deactivated my Facebook. She then messaged me my own phone number and nudes and said "how would you like it I were to post these to cnn so the whole world and family could see" I said "why would you do that" she said "don't ask questions" she then said create an account with a valid credit card on my website and I won't post them. I said "you know containing child pornography is illegal right, and I'm only 15" (I'm actually 16) and I blocked her and deleted the kik app. Any suggestions? I'm quite scared and don't know what to do. Someone please help

  • If she doesn't have your pic/address/other personal info then she can fk off. I don't know but kik is using a username so it means you're quite anonymous unless you got a pic up there. Just save the screenshots for later just in case. But I wouldn't really worry too much about it. Oh and seriously: never give her your creditcard info or shit. "She" can identity fraud you with it.

It's a lesson for next time, don't give personal info out too early to someone you never met face to face.

by the way, if she somehow manages to reach out to you and starts stalking/blackmailing you in a way that you can't avoid it then just get to the cops asap and show the proof. Which means: save all chat's etc.

Good luck, and don't worry too much even though that's hard!

    • I didn't give her any credit card information. Anyways thanks for the help

  • Okay do not do anything. She can't send them to CNN because there's no way in hell they will air that, I can assure you. Don't do anything because she doesn't have your Facebook or anything so I'm assuming she doesn't know anyone you know either. Just whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE HER CREDIT CARD DETAILS.

    • I didn't give her any credit card information. I was smart enough about that but not anything else. Thanks for the suggestions thiugh

    • Yeah just don't do anything and stay away from social media for a few weeks. I'm assuming she has no way of contact you any more?

    • Not that I'm aware of

  • oh god, I can't think of what you can do. try contacting the police or something like that?

  • 1. I'd say call her bluff - big deal
    2. One thing about me is that I don't EVER succumb to blackmail cause once you do then there's no end to how long they can stretch it :)
    3. If she were to send it to CNN then she'd probably get arrested for circulating unauthorized even if not prohibited matter - depending on which country she's in. Also that CNN is not into playing people's requests
    4. Cancel that credit card first
    5. Keep the Kik app and continue as you were. If someone messages you with reference to this, take screen shots and then use them as legal reference to submit them to the cops
    6. Everyone makes mistakes but it's not necessary either to live by them or succumb to the results :)

    Good luck :)

  • You did a treble mistake there little man, first sending nudes was and always will be big mistake but if you ever do it (which is discourage) hide your face, second you can't trust a stranger specially those from the cyber, thirdly you should have screen shotted all conversation in case you need it as evidence but unfortunately if you deleted Kik app it's over because once you uninstall kik all messages are deleted, the girl manipulated you, but you are the one who was too vulnerable, after all mistakes happen, learn from it, and relax by the way it's lying to you how can she post it to CNN, actually that is impossible but she can post you on social media.

    • Thanks bro. I knew it was bs about posting to cnn but social media I knew their was a possiblity

    • You are welcome

  • You needed a lesson and you got it.
If she posts this, she is guilty of distributing child pornography and she'll be guilty of blackmailing too. You won't be guilty of anything else than being stupid. Some people are going to see your weiner and your face, there is no avoiding that.

    • Yeah I realized I made a mistake

  • Unfortunately I've seen this same question asked about a month ago. I would get law enforcement involved. My guess is that person is more interested in trying to get you to pay them than actually making the pics public. Hopefully if you get the police out FBI involved, there can stop these people from doing it in the future.

    • Yeah I saw that post a few minutes before I made this but I didn't see any replies or anything saying that none of it ever happened. Anyways thanks for the suggestions

    • I think it'll work out and hopefully you learned from what happened.

  • Just take screen shots of the conversation and save it for later.

  • Call the police

  • Delete the photos on kik, on your iCloud or Picasa, and your phone. Keep her blocked on kik.

    Exhale.

    • if the person has saved the images then that won't work

    • I've deleted everything

  • LMAO WTF Dude. Don't worry just take a screenshot and you'll be fine. There is no way CNNs going to show your nudes. I hope you learned a lesson here.

  • Don't do anything, it's still illegal if your 16 (as far as I know, for Canada and the U. S. anyways) You probably shouldn't of deleted the kik app though, could of used it as evidence. I heard of this happening to someone else in a similar fashion;

    www.reddit.com/.../

The blackmailer never went through with their threat, and they would be risking a lot if they did.

    • "She" claimed she was a girl but i doubt it

  • Captain Hindsight reporting for duty. Never take a nude picture with your face in it. Don't give your information to someone you hardly know.

What you should do now: Completely ignore that person, do not comply with anything, or even speak one more word to him/her. Anyone leaking naked photos of under aged people will only put themselves at great risk with absolutely no gain. Unless someone has a personal vendetta against you, which I doubt in this case. Anyway, ignore.

  • sigh, WHYYY WOULD U SEND IT TO HER LOLL

  • they cannot post any pics without u signing its called the privacy act and they can get jail time for it they can trace anything back to that person
