Though, a legitimately gay guy might avoid it due to pregnancy concerns - One of the benefits of being gay is you never ever have to worry about pregnancy, after all.
Hmm ok I am asking bc I was watching a show and this guy who is gay had a mad crush on a transitioning female who looked and identified as male- whatever that means- the only way you could tell was by knowing she had a vagina. Once the guy found out it turned him off and he disappeared. but eventually he decided he still liked " him" . Then they want in a date and had sex and he just went right in, which I thought would be pretty harsh for a first time anal sex. And they never discussed it in the show what they'd do so I gave no idea if he stuck it in the vagina or ass hole. And I'm curious so I decided to ask real life homosexuals what they'd do. While I was at it I decided to ask lesbians.

It's not that it's a difficult question. I understood it perfectly. It's just a viewpoint so contrary to mine that I can't imagine myself being in that position to be making that decision, so I can't really give a good answer.
