Why is my male coworker telling everyone we hooked up?

i gave a male coworker h... Today I come to work and everyone is laughing at me. i don't know why? A guy an girl coworker walk past laughing with each other the dude says to the chick I wonder if she"ll give me head? Right in my face. I froze stunned like somebody slapped me an my face. I didn't say anything I just ran away. They were laughing. Another coworker comments about a patient with an std (we work at a hospital ) an ask me you wouldn't know about that? Then another coworker mentions rumors an say I sure ain't trying to start up more rumors about you. And I respond no one even knows who I am. And he says oh yes they do. I feel humiliated. I can't believe he told everyone. This guy is in his forties. He should know better.

  • I really don't understand why you are surprised. It is a version of workplace bullying sure. I'm not sure how you found yourself in this situation and why you only have him head as opposed to having sex but it doesn't sound like you guys had a previous romantic relationship. You don't just randomly hook up with coworkers. And giving head and getting nothing in return you're giving and he getting. It makes him look like a stud. Sex would have been embarrassing for him as well so he wouldn't say anything. Let it be a lesson learned and start looking for a new job because association with you is now toxic and it won't go away.

  • Thats really immature of him! And sounds like you have awful coworkers. The good thing about gossips is that people forget the old gossip when they find new ones. So they'll talk about it for a few days and then eventually it will stop. Just keep your head high and don't get affected. No need to give any explanations or feel guilty. You're an adult, its not like high school. So just ignore it and dont talk to that guy ever again!

  • People like that are the reason why everyone can't just enjoy good sex. It seems that you chose the wrong guy to sleep with. You also have the wrong partners at work. I wouldn't have sex with anyone else from your work, if I were you; it seems that all of them are idiots.
