Is 19 too young to have sex? and at what age did you start to have sex (if you dont mind sharing)?

I was 17, yet I was probably the last of all my friends to 'lose it'. Technically speaking, if you have started having your periods, you are old enough to start having sex. You would be sexually mature and the body is designed to begin breeding at that age (13-14). Ancient Egyptians & Greeks, Romans & people during the Medieval times all would have had their first kids in their early teens. That doesn't mean you should do that today though.
It is only because of social developments and religion that people these days are encouraged to wait until they are a lot older. Personally I think 18 is a good, safe age to begin engaging in sex as you will be more responsible & prepared than if you were say 15. If you are 18 or older, it becomes a matter of personal opinion whether you should do it or not. So to answer your question, no, 19 is definitely not too young to have sex. But if you wan't the occasion to be extra special, save it for marriage.

I lost mine at 13... I was in a bad crowd at the time. My girlfriend lost hers at 18.  I think the age that dignifies when you are ready is when you fully understand the consequences to having sex.

When I just turned 16 so nearly a year ago now, don't worry about a number its more about how you feel, do you feel like you ready? If you are then why not your gona have sex one day anyway :) people will tell you your too young but what do they know about what's going on inside your head :)

You're an adult so I wouldn't say it too young.
I had sex once with the guy I lost my virginity to at 17, didn't have sex again till I was 19 and I got pregnant, still with the guy. I wish I would have waited for him to come along instead of had sex at 17 -_-

I dont really support sex before marriage, but that can sound a bit old school for lots of people, so I think you should lose your virginity with someone you truly love but you need to be aware of the consequences it might bring, do it when YOU feel ready.

I was 14 when I first had sex, I met my partner that I'm with now when I was just turning 17 and I'm 20 now so I can definitely say I've been having sex all through age of 19 and I don't think it's too young at all :P
