As men we know deep down that these doctors are men first and job second. And you can go on the internet and read numerous cases of male doctors losing their licence for sexual misconduct. And I can even link you to websites where many women admit that it really turns them on being examined by a male doctor. Not all women, of course, but many do. And for any smart ass who says "What if the female doctor is a lesbian," the difference is that most femlae doctors are not lesbians so it's unlikely that your girlfriend would end up with a lesbian doctor. And secondly, I've only ever heard of one case of a lesbian doctor sexually abusing a female patient, where as 99.9% of sexual abuse within the medical profession is committed by male doctors. So obviously there is a big difference. I've also come across women who said that they noticed their male doctor had an erection when he was examining them. Obviously he was getting a secret thrill. Would you be okay with that if it was your own girlfriend or wife? So men, how do you feel about it?

For me, the way I see it is how would I feel if the tables were turned? How would I feel if my boyfriend/husband were under the care/examination of a female doctor (urologist, is it?) that examines his penis? I know there aren't nearly enough studies/statistics on female doctors' sexual misconduct toward male patients, so it's not exactly the same situation. However, regardless, I wouldn't like the idea of my boyfriend/husband's genitals being examined by another female. For me, it's more of a "that's mine, don't touch" mentality; he's mine, so he's off-limits to ALL other females, especially ones nearing his nether-regions.

My doctor is a male. My boyfriend never cared and if he did I would think he was insecure and doubtful of my commitment to him. Having a male doctor isn't sexual in any way. Plus, it's not like you go in once a week for a pap smear or breast check. Unless there is something wrong or it's your 18 month pap smear appointment there's no reason a doctor would need to check things out. And if there was something wrong, I would want my boyfriend to be concerned for me, not a doctor fixing it. They see so many damn vaginas and boobs it would be looking like an elbow to them. I'm really comfortable with my doctor so I won't be changing any time soon. Plus, whenever I've had anything personal checked there's always an assistant nurse in the room.

Actually the biggest cause of death in the world is the medical profession. I once came across a male doctor, off duty, who said that he also believes male doctors should not do intimate exams on women. He said that he has heard their "locker room" talk and believes that men should not be allowed to do these exams. They are men first and job second.
