At what point does a girl lose her virginity? First base? Second base? etc?

I heard one guy say a girl loses her virginity, as soon as she kissess a guy. I've also heard of conservative Christian girls try to stay virgins by having anal sex, which I thought was more "advanced" than vaginal sex. It's confusing. So at what point do you think a girl has lost her virginity?

  • I don't think it has anything to do with your age I think it has something to do with your maturity level. There are quite a few people I've met in their mid twenties and shouldn't be having sex with anyone because they're stupid! Same token there are some very responsible teenagers and I see them and they handle themselves well and I can understand why they would do what they want to do. So the crux of it is if you're mature enough to handle sex then you should be mature enough to make a good decision about sex. First sign indicator you are not ready for sex is not taking proper precautions! :-)

  • At no point actually. Virginity isn't something real, you can't lose it. You become sexually active when you do sexual activity for first time, being it oral, fingering, genitalia to genitalia.

  • You lose your viginity as soon as you have sex of any sort.

  • Some define loosing virginity as when you actually let a guy into your vagina with his penis... intercourse. Others think that just touching your naked breasts constitutes loosing it or if a finger penetrates your vagina either yours or someone else fingers.

If this is true then when do lesbians loose their virginity if a penis must be included in the sexual activity.

What have you done that make you wonder about this?

  • Virgin is someone who don't have an vaginal sex, if she was having an oral or anal sex, she is technical virgin, but no longer an real/full virgin, to be an real/full virgin she need to not have any kind of sex, and to be fully sexually innocent and pure, she better off without any sexual act, even without sexual/romantic kissing.

    • Why do you keep posting this nonsense post? It's not like a serious source.

    • @Elis678 because girls keep asking almost the same thing? and it's an shorter answer to them? technical virgin is an real term, and it's solves the "dilemma" of virgin or non-virgin, in those cases, girl who want to be 100% pure should be an full/real virgin and not an technical virgin, fully pure and untouched girls are the best as far as I'm concerned, but to some guys, technical virgins are still better then nothing.

    • Technical virginity isn't a real thing, it's a bullshit some bigot women invented, so that can suck all the dicks of the world, and claiming to the inexperienced. Virginity itself technically isn't a real thing and just a social construct, that can mean different things for different people.

  • Define virgin: a person who has never had sexual intercourse
Define sexual intercourse: sexual contact between individuals involving penetration, especially the insertion of a man's erect penis into a woman's vagina, typically culminating in orgasm and the ejaculation of semen.
Hope this answers your question :)

    • Define virgin: a person who has never had sex Sex= physical sexual acvitivity between indivual Define sexual intercouse= sexual activity between individual (inter mean between), genitalia contact. I hope you are aware that the oxford definition doesn't represent all dictionary and that any dictionary has difference definitions. Plus, virginity isn't a real thing.

  • Old schoolers would say the virginity is lost as soon as the hymen is broken.

I'd say as soon as the penis passes by the labia, the v card is gone

    • Except the hymen can be broke by falling, riding a bike or by fingers inserted into the vagina... So, once the penis is in the vagina ( not labia as you didn't specify the minor or major labia ) I agree virginity is gone.

  • With penis-penetrative intercourse, vaginal or anal. Everything else is just young love. Ending virginity is about an act and intent.

    • No, it isn't penis-penetrative, is sexual acvitivity in general. Having sex for first time. The anus isn't a sexual organ and doesn't belong to the original definition of virginity (which is actually a thing that doesn't exist).

    • Ending virginity is about... intent.

  • Has it ANY importance? Why?
