That body type is very appealing to a lot of men and it is a primal instinct that he would want to get you pregnant. Women with that body type tend to be very fertile and carry their children well, have an easier time in labor. Just very conducive to reproduction. Very sexy.
Big hips can make your childbirth much easier so it's make an sense that it's make your boyfriend more willing to get you pregnant, but of course it's not the only reason that he want you to get pregnant, the other reason is simply he want to have children overall and with you in particular.

This is actually untrue. Women with wider hips have more space for child bearing so they actually endure pregnancy better. Women with narrow hips baby belly sticks out really far which is why they end up with the large amounts of loose skin. Narrow bodies aren’t ideal for childbirth
