Do women ever think about their male friends in a sexual way?

    Granted, this is mostly because I am super ultra tomboy -- I play video games, build hot rods, swear when I get excited, hell, I even EAT like a boy. Again, 4 brothers, no mom, no sisters. I am not girly-girl at all.

    The more girly-girl ("traditionally feminine") a girl is, the less likely her friendships are to be like mine, because the less non-sexual stuff she'll have in common with men. So, when you see girls posting "yes" answers to these questions, they are probably more girly-girl than me, and their friendships are probably less pure as friendships than mine.
    i. e. in those "friendships" there's probably AT LEAST some element of one person "orbiting" the other one, secretly (or not-so-secretly) hoping for a chance -- and if that chance was ruled out forever, the friendship would probably dissipate.

    I couldn't stand that, frankly. Could not hang out with someone harboring some creepy secret crush on me. Because (1) it'd be pretty obvious anyway -- most people are REALLY bad at hiding that kind of thing -- and (2) eww, just eww.

    There is no way to tell without asking her. I have sexual thoughts about some male friends, but definitely not ALL male friends. And a fantasy doesn't mean I want to date them.
