Ever been tied up before for fun? How were you tied? Who tied you up? what were you tied up with? And did you enjoy it?

I'm kind of obsessed with rope, honestly. I've been getting tied up occasionally for several months now, and most of the time, I enjoy it more than sex. I love the feeling of being restrained, the feeling of rope pulling against my skin, and just the relaxation of not having to worry about what to do with my body. I've even done a full suspension tie on two occasions now, and those are a lot of fun too.

I've had lots of different kinds of rope used on me, but I think my two favorites so far are jute rope and coconut rope. Jute is pretty photogenic, has a nice bite to it, and just looks really pretty and artsy, especially on shibari ties. Coconut is wayyy more scratchy and irritating on your skin, which really make my masochist side happy. Having that stuff between your toes makes it impossible to ignore!

I've done more rope with some people than others, but there's no one in particular that I usually tie with. I just tend to go to the rope events at my local dungeon, and find someone at the event who's looking for a rope bottom.

How did you first get started? when did you realized you loved getting tied up? sorry for asking questions just curious because its a big secret in our lives. me and my wife tie eachother up a lot but nothing to intricate but still tight. latley we have been doing self bondage together we really like the idea of being tied up together and having to work free to be able to please eachother.

I don't mind answering questions. :) I got started in early November of 2015. A friend of mine is into BDSM, and they asked me if I wanted to try being tied up. I figured sure, why not, and they did a pretty basic tie on one of my legs, just to see if I liked it. Needless to say, I *really* liked it. They did a couple more basic ties on me that day, and also told me about FetLife, so I made a profile there, and that's how I started going to local events. I started out having simpler ties done on me that I was comfortable with, and worked my way up into the more elaborate stuff as I gained confidence and experience. I've actually done a few sessions where I had to untie myself after getting tied up, and I definitely enjoyed it. The feeling of adrenaline as you're trying to escape is pretty great.

I love that feeling you get all tied up its a total relaxation i swear it feels like a form of meditation at times do you ever use different material other then rope we have been using bondage tape amd saran wrap latley and it has been fun hard to escape but still comfortable

I agree! I've done a decent amount of hypnosis in the past, and being tied up is a similar feeling to being in a trance for me. Relaxed, little awareness of the outside world, and somewhat more suggestible. I haven't done much outside of rope, except for cuffs and velcro straps, on occasion. I'm definitely interested in trying the other options, though! I feel like latex could be pretty fun.

I love the look of latex i think u may have shared on another question i asked a girl tied up in leather leggings haha so much for being anonyms but i dont really care anymore but i love the feel and look of latex or leather my wife actually has a leather catsuit for a catwoman costume for Halloween and we tied ourselves up back to back with bondage tape wich has a latex feel and it was a lot of fun do you have any outfits in paticular you like being tied up in and also do you ever like gags?

Rope tends to get in the way of most clothing, so if I'm going to be dressed while being tied, I typically go for things that are form-fitting and comfortable. Usually it's yoga pants and a t-shirt. Of course, leather or latex would probably work too, but I don't own any of that. I've never used a gag before, but I really want to! I feel like I'd really enjoy it.

I prefer it pretty tight, for the most part, but a bit less so on areas that could cut off circulation, of course. I don't like feeling like I could just squirm out of the ropes, and the less movement I have, the better.

Yes i am quite into Shibari. My SO/Dom tied me up. He tied me up with jute rope. Yes i enjoyed it.

If you dont mind me asking but how did you get started into the whole thing? my wife and i have been playing with ropes and other stuff for awhile now but none of our ties really surpass a basic hogtie and our knots are usually tight but never that fancy I've heard of shibari classes but dont think we are ready to expose our secrets

Read a lot of romance/erotic novels in my teens and stumbled upon Shibari. Fell in love with it and luckily my SO is quite into it as well...
