So far, I've had only 1. And I was hoping she'd be the only one I would ever need or want. A pity it didn't work out.

Was all set to marry her, and then she went off the rails with inviting over gal pals that were bi, and with making sexual gestures at dogs, etc.

The next gal isn't getting the full home run deal unless the knot is tied.

Now, that's if you're counting sex. If you want to count crushes that went nowhere, I've averaged about 2-3 of those per year for the last 22 years, adding up to a total of around 50 or so in my lifetime. That'd be satyr territory.

If simply being close with a gal is what counts, with no pretense that it had to actually lead to sex, that number is closer to 13-20. So by conservative standards, I'd be considered experimental.

I'm not out to fill a scorecard. But I always keep one eye open in the event that I'll meet that one girl who is worth a lifetime's remainder of my time and energy.

When I wanted to discuss birthdays, restaurants, faith, politics, and plans for the future, somehow the conversation kept coming back to ISO-8. I met both of them in an Aspie rehabilitation program, one which couldn't help me because it was geared at high school kids and college sophomores, not college grads frustrated with the job market and lacking confidence and also showing signs of CPTSD. I left that program because they didn't have the resources I needed, and because most everyone else in the program was a decade younger than myself. They said they were only geared for three levels, but I easily qualified for the level 4 or 5 they hoped to create.

There is one major problem with your poll. It does not account for the age of the subject. If you are 16 years old and have had 5 sexual partners, you are rather promiscuous. If you are older than 30, 5 partners is not a warning sign but probably a very normal number.
