Does sending nudes make me a slut?

So I'm an almost 18 year old virgin, but for a virgin I'm very "sexually active" bc I send nudes. The truth is that if you meet me in person you would never think that I'd do that sort of thing, it's not that I'm a prude or act like I'm the holiest thing you've ever seen, it's more of a I keep to myself about those sort of things. But if a guy asks me for nudes and I have decided that he's not going to leak them or be mean about them, then I'll go for it. I honestly mostly do it bc I like the idea of someone wanting me in that way or the thought that I can make a guy cum, it's really empowering to my lack self esteem. Does me sending nudes to "random" guys make me a slut?

Okay, me asking this question wasn't so that I could have guys asking me for nudes, it was out of pure curiosity, so please stop telling me that I should just send everyone nudes bc I'm only really about the attention. 😁🍓

  • It doesn't. But if you chose to do it, be sure it's someone you can trust, or someone you can trust having fun with for that matter. And it's best if you don't show your face unless you're more intimate with that person, in a relationship or actually know them for a while.

    Also, I won't say you are very young for that because I'd be bullshitting, but dudes your age are generally very immature and quite frankly, assholes, so keep that in mind. You won't want pics floating around at a school or smth, while you still live under your parents roof. Just my two cents.

    • Honestly, I've only sent my nudes to one guy i used to go to school with but he never got to see me like that until after he graduated and I've only sent them to four guys, but only two of them are guys I'm still chill with today. All of the guys but one have been older than me.

  • It doesn't make you a slut. "Slut" is a pointless derogatory term that's thrown around to shame women for doing whatever they want with their own bodies.
    But you need to be very careful. Even if you trust a guy, you never know who he'll show it to or if he's going to upload those pics anywhere. I mean, even some girls' boyfriends have done that when they've broken up or argued, clearly these girls never thought that their BOYFRIEND would do it. Don't trust guys so blindly. And work on your self-esteem. You have to realize that feeling good about yourself isn't a result of others feeling good about you. You need to be comfortable in your skin and accept yourself. It doesn't matter if other people accept you and validate you. You'll never get good self-esteem unless you start to actively work towards liking yourself.

    Slut is just a slur thrown around primarily by women, to keep other women in 'check'.
    It's nothing but social pressure to hinder you from having sex or being sexually open because the people who use the term themeselves are too scared of being sexually active in case they in turn might be labelled "slut".

    And well, even if you were a slut, so fucking what? Guys like sluts, and if you like behaving as such then embrace the label and enjoy yourself.

  • NO it does not make you that at all, what is does make you to me is one who does not know the risks of sending pictures like that ever over the net. I know two women that when younger 14 and15.. thought they were in love.. they both sent pictures.. then something happened and neither party spoke any more between them all.. well one year later he used those pics to bully and blackmail the girls.. as well he had said to both these pics will never haunt you.

    It finally all got resolved but scared the girls to death and to this day they regret that day.. hope you see my point.. just go over to his place let him take photos... or just hand him one or two.. take care now

  • I'm not concerned with whether you're a slut or not. However, I am concerned about the risks you are taking that you may NOT be aware of. I assume you take photos on a smart phone. Do you know that these photos contain something called exif data? This data can include, amongst many other things, the geographical co-ordinates of where the photo was taken and on what date. In the wrong hands, it could be extremely risky for you. With this knowledge, maybe you should do a risk assessment to see if it's worth it!

    I've had multiple friends show me nudes girls sent them. I don't do that personally, just because that's a standard I have. So I know not all guys do it. But you should just know that sending a guy nudes is a risk of having it shown to multiple guys. Even if he doesn't leak them, still might show them in person.

    Now in a relationship a boyfriend does not want other guys seeing that sort of thing, so you can trust him.
