The thing a lot of people don't tend to realise it that the people who do this kind of stuff have majority of the time been victims of the same thing or something similar themselves, they are often mentally disturbed, and sure you may think they are evil but most of them have some kind of problem in their heads because of what happened to them from when they were kids, or other stuff.
By no means do I remotely accept what they have done but seeing them as evil human beings who should rot in hell and go through the same torture they did on the kid is not something I'd think, only IF they went through something similar/bad when they were young as well, or if they are mentally disturbed. And if they were to go through the same torture, the people carrying out the torture on him wouldn't be any different than the perpetrator.
Sometimes prison tends to make some disturbed people even more disturbed than they already were, or turn "undisturbed" people crazy. If they are ever going to be let back into society they will need some kind of mental help to even make it safe for the civilians once they come out.
I don't believe in death penalty, so if they are impossible people to change then life in prison it is. If they have potential to change then they shouldn't be in a prison but a mental hospital of some sort.
Murder, rape, and child abuse should all result in a life sentence in prison. The death penalty is wrong.

Well he wasn't the direct cause of death but a contributing factor. He should get the same abuse he did to the child. But lets switch roles and have a woman be the abuser, I'm tired of seeing women go unpunished or get light punishments for major crimes. Just because men commit more crimes doesn't mean that they should get hit harder. AND GIRLS before you lose it! I've played on boys sports teams with girls on them. Some were even high scoring players. But opponents would sometimes pick on them just because they were smaller and i would stick up for them and give the guy a piece of my mind. Beisdes i don't care if the abuser or convict is Male, Female, White, Black, Asian, Hispanic etc. a criminal is a criminal and they should go where every criminal goes, Prison!

I mainly said the death penalty because I don't think he should spend his life being fed and housed by tax payers, while no doubt enjoying sex with younger guys in prison.
I think pedophiles should be executed because there's no cure for pedophilia so they're a danger to children even if they serve a long time in prison before they're released
i´d say life sentence. in our country "one time" life sentence means you can come free after like 30 years, if you meet certain criteria

And what if an innocent person is accidentally found guilty? There are TONS of stories of people being wrongly accused, wrongly found guilty, and then given the death penalty, and nobody realizes that they were innocent until it's too late. You can release a person from prison, but you can't bring back the dead.

Sucks to be them? Can you even imagine what it feels like to be sentenced to death for a crime you didn't commit? A life sentence is severe enough. There's no reason why that shouldn't be the limit.

The only thing i've read about that has good success preventing child abusers from repeating is physical castration. Kill their sex drive and many of them can be safe.
My emotions want the death penalty for people like this, but for our current society , the death penalty isn't worth using.

He should be removed from society like all sociopaths and abusers, but i really think our society needs to move toward teaching children how to grow into healthy adults and rehabilitating those that slip through the cracks instead of making them more cold blooded in prison.
I'm going to say life in prison because it's cheaper to keep them in prison than to kill them.
Life in prison so they can be totured in prison for the rest of their pathetic lives. If child abusers will get that much of a sentence. Then my bullies, who make fun of me for being 6'9, should get life in prison too. they are my child abusers in high school.
