Remain faithful, you fell in love and had a child with your wife for a reason. Her looks shouldn't matter if you truly love her. I agree the lack of sex is a big issue, I had to deal with that before. In the long run I got a divorce because he was unwilling to work on the marriage. It was excruciating. So I understand the need to get it elsewhere.

If you cheat you have already decided to end your marriage by making yourself emotionally unavailable to your wife and emotionally available to your secretary.

I think I would attempt to find out why you're not getting laid, if you can't get a real answer then maybe ending your marriage is the right thing to do or you could ask for an open relationship. As much as she needs her needs met you must make it clear that you have needs as well that need met. You might also make sure her needs are being met, which could be the reason for lack of sex in the first place.

Cheating in my opinion is lying, and you shouldn't have to lie in your marriage.

But the same things can be said about the husband too. But I'm sorry no sex no marriage. I think its time annulment is available as viable option for men (due to lack of sex). I would love to read more on the reasons you mentioned about wives no longer feeling up to sex (from a woman's perspective) if you can recommend any. Also do you study Psychology?

A wife who doesn't have sex with you for TWO YEARS is breaking her marriage vows, and that is essentially equal to cheating. Having sex with a hot secretary might not be the honorable or righteous thing to do... but it's not on par with cheating. And, if your wife is refusing to have sex with you, the marriage is basically over anyways.

So, I'd probably end up giving in. I might actually see if I could strike up an agreement with my wife for me to have sex with other people.

It is mostly a misdemeanor, but in some states (around 5) it is considered a felony with up to $10,000 fines and 5 years of jail as maximum punishment. Some states (Illinois) can not only punish the cheater, but also the person they have cheated with.

@Kuraj BUT today in 21st century anyone actually has been charged and prosecuted for it. When you divorce the ex-spouse can state they are getting divorced because their partner cheated. That would mean whoever committed adultery would automatically be charged, and prosecuted. Yet it never happens, big chunk of marriages end because of cheating. So adultery may have been criminalized in dark ages, today its no longer a crime considered worth prosecuting. Senators, Congressman cheat, President ie Bill Clinton cheated.
