Should I lose my virginity to my guy friend?

I got out of a relationship with a guy I really love, I planned on losing my virginity to him. He left me for another girl and it really hit me hard because I love him, still do; I was the longest relationship and I was the most loyal girlfriend to him so I really don't get why he did what he did. Anyways I have a guy friend (for about a year) my ex boyfriend didn't really like him because he said we were "too close" well my friend knows everything about me, he's a great listener, and we talk about anything. After the breakup, he was he shoulder to cry on and he tried to cheer me up. I started talking about how I'm giving up on relationships because of how much I keep getting heartbroken and then I started talking about giving him my virginity rather than giving it to a guy who would just leave me in he future. But I started thinking some more and realized that my friend never called me beautiful or gave me any real compliments, or said that he loves me like as a friend, whenever I try to flirt with emojis he dosent try anything back, but he's up to taking my virginity. So I don't know

Of course it's up to you, but I would save it for someone who shares feelings with you. I don't know what guy would turn down sex when offered in your situation. If he wanted to date you it would be a different story, but it seems like that's not the case. Either way waiting until the feelings for your ex have subsided before making a decision might be wise.

Of course he's up for doing it, he's a boy. But you're going to ruin your friendship and that's worth holding onto in my opinion. Find another volunteer.
