  • We are all technically mixed children if you study our DNA. We all have genetic markers that have originated all over the world. Because we focus so much on skin color and race, we make the mistake of thinking that's the ultimate mark of genetic diversity. In reality, I could pull a random Asian guy off the street and have more in common with him genetically than a random white guy. I'm white if you can't tell. Race is purely a social construct.

Anyway before I go off on more of a tangent I'll just say I don't care about skin color so I'd be with and potentially have children with a woman of any background.

  • I have no choice as I'm mixed, so naturally my children would also be mixed.

    • what parent is what race?

    • Mother is American (Irish descent), father is Japanese.

    • what parent do you think you look more like? sorry for the questions

  • Just read comments of some old racist down below and just gotta say this: No matter his evidence of superiority of white race , its happening whether he likes it or not. Too bad he's so old he won't be around to see it in the future coz I bet that would hurt like a btch. Its evolution of our species and it is happening! And yes I'm a part of it and happy to be!

  • Yes! I think they're absolutely beautiful and so unique :) My only issue would be if ignorant people asked "Is that really your kid?" That would probably frustrate me to no end. Other than that I think I would love it because I'm really attracted to people from every culture so it's quite possible that this will happen to me lol :)

    • Thank you for mh!

  • If I had gotten married to a girl who is not caucasian like me, sure, I would have mixed children. It certainly isn't a goal in life of mine-- to have mixed children, but I'm not against it by any means. If it happens, it happens.

  • I think regardless my children would be mixed because i am, so I don't have an option but to haha.

  • I would have to say no because of the increase in risks of genetic mutations and other complications and I wouldn't be willing to put that burden on my child and future husband.

    • Genetic mutations? anyway it's a good choose to stay loyal to your race regardless.

    • @Berethor when the two parents are different races there's a higher risk of mutations that can cause dermatologic problems in the future

    • Channel 4 (UK Channel) Scientists are fascinated by theories that this mixing could lead to a genetic advantage

  • Mixed child checking in. 🙋🏽 my children will be mixed race no matter who I have kids with.

    • what parent is what race, if you don't mind me asking

    • They're all basically mixed lol, my dad is the most white though (Swedish and Finnish) my madre is biracial with Swedish (white as people see it) and French Guianese (black), there's even more mixes past that but yeah.

    • yeah hahah... same here. our kids are a mix of at least 4 different races (we're not entirely sure, since my husband was a "foundling" -- abandoned baby), and omg they are smashingly beautiful. gna be trouble...

  • Yeah if the guy I get impregnated by isn't black.

  • That's a very beautiful picture :)
Yes. Pretty much any way I go about it, my kids will be a different ethnicity than me. And that's ok :)

  • Children are children are we still at a stage we need to worry about skin color

  • I'm pretty sure I will have mixed children.

And I didn't know whites have bigger brains...

    • they don't

    • That's true, they don't. I was just talking about what somebody said in the comments, I guess you know what I'm talking about.

    • oh that asshole, I think the only different between races is we have different resistance to diseases and if you mixed to different races, more times than not the child will get the benefit of both parents disease resistance genes and they will make the child heathier.

  • Yea, definitely. I don't see a problem with it.

  • Sure, I don't have a problem with it.

  • Wut? Would I even care in the first place? Races is such a silly concept to start with.

  • Yeah

  • Sure why not love is bigger than futility like race.

  • NO.

But I won't have any children, so it's rather moot.

  • Couldn't care less - If I loved someone, it wouldn't matter what she was and if our kids would be mixed or not,

  • I don't have mixed children but I would've if I had married a non white guy. I don't discriminate on race when it comes to dating/being in love.

  • If the guy I'm dating currently works out then no.

    • Ohh you're dating!!! That's so exciting. I hope all goes well ☺️

    • @This_is_my_username :D same

  • My son is mixed

    • what is he mixed with, and what race are you, if you don't mind me asking

    • I'm white. He is black and white

  • Don't think so since the chances of meeting someone of another race in a 100% white country are nonexistent.

That is if I don't move to the US or Canada in the future, but I dunno if I'll ever do that.

  • If the girl I decide to have my babies with is from another race, then obviously.
