Honestly there's no perfect age to have sex for the first time. I feel like we put too much pressure on the first time being this magical moment when it's actually really awkward and uncomfortable. Some people may feel ready to have sex when they're 16 or 61 and they shouldn't be judged for it nor should they feel that they have to have sex at a specific age. I feel like the first time isn't really what matters but instead the sex your having currently that counts. Maybe if we talked about sex more openly to students at younger ages, people would have less regrets about their sexual experiences

I did it after highschool (we usually graduate when we're 16-17 yo).
I didn't wait per se, it just didn't happen before because I didn't have a boyfriend.
