A thought just popped into my head. Is the porn industry similar to Hollywood where films made by them basically are consumed and given more preference over local films throughout the world?

I mean Hollywood films aren't just watched by Americans but show up heavily in all major movie theaters around the world whereas Bollywood movies primarily targeted within India for example and films made in France, Italy are often restricted to their geographic range.
