Why do women in Africa have twins at the highest rate? Why do they seem to get pregnant easier on average?

Concerning twinning rate it is highest among black women.
It's partially because of genetics. Dizygotic twinning (2 female gamètes in the uterus, plus fertilized) is a sign of high fertility. And black women are the ones that get two gamètes in the utérus at the same time the easiest.
Then, the more kids a woman had, the greater her fertility. If she already had kids, she's got more chances to have two gamètes in the utérus at the same time.
The Yoruba have the highest rate of twinning in the world, at 45–50 twin sets (or 90–100 twins) per 1,000 live births, possibly because of high consumption of a specific type of yam containing a natural phytoestrogen which may stimulate the ovaries to release an egg from each side.
Blacks become mature earlier. The other reasons are they don't use contraception and seem to be having s.. quasi non stop. It's not they're so good at falling pregnant (they are but that's not THE reason). It's that their men are very hungry. Third world countries lack muséums, universities and work opportunities. She's got 2 kids, and is ready to have one more (or two again, with a relatively higher likelihood). Also since they mature earlier most 11 YO black girls can have a baby while 11 YO Asians and whites are still 100% kids. So among children aged groups, you got yet sterility among whites and ready blacks. So here you could say they're more fertile. Otherwise, comparing 20 YO blacks and others, putting aside, much more ovary activity in black women, I found this: In 2006, SART data analysis discovered that Asian ethnicity was found to be an independent risk factor for worse outcomes that did not result in conception or lasting pregnancy. The dataset included 25,843 Caucasian and 1,429 Asian women.

In 2007, the same SART data set was analyzed but with a focus on IVF outcomes in Black women. There were 3,666 Black and 68,606 White women included in the analysis and the relative risk of not achieving a live birth was 1.21 in Black women compared to White women. Other studies that have also used the SART database have similarly found significant disparity. So, to answer your question, I was apparently wrong finding them good at getting pregnant. Whites seem to be the best at it, and Asians the worst.

Black women in America have a harder time getting pregnant on average because of obesity and fibroids, this of course is why they have a harder time getting pregnant and higher miscarriage rates. However, black women in Africa have easier time getting pregnant. I do think it was said though, that black women in America were more likely to have twins than any other race same as African women. So that means that on average black women in America do release more eggs, however due to a high proportion of African American women being obese and having fibroids at a higher rate due to the bad food they eat they're less likely to become pregnant, however, African women are more likely than whites, Asian women and African American because they are less likely to be obese and release more eggs, hence why they have more kids and live births and why they get pregnant easier

Could be a case of less industrial pollution which can adversely affect birth rate. It could be as another mentioned, infant mortality rate is high, therefore women in those other countries do their best to have as many babies as possible to ensure that at least some survive. There are too many variables to pin down the exact reason or cause. Anyone could hazard a guess and be just as accurate as the next person's opinion or perspective. The same holds true for why there are more twins or multiple births.

Some are Christian countries, others are secular countries, and few are Muslim territories over running with war. Many women get raped against their will. There is no abortion. Many girls are sold as sex slaves. Girls in general if they weren't raised Christian end up having sex with the tribal leaders as part of ceremonial rituals and tradition or she hasn't become a woman.

Some European countries are mostly under Catholic rules, so their won't be much pregnancy amongst adults. However recent studies have shown that the UK has the higher teen pregnancy rate in the world as of this year. In Asian con tries such as Japan for an example, do not put the importance of sex, marriage and relationships and are mostly a career driven society. Therefore fertility rate is very low. By choice too.

It sounds like a combination of factors, from religion to culture to education (specifically girls being kept home from school/getting married early) to lack of birth control or refusal to use it, to people wanting more kids because higher child mortality rates mean fewer kids live past their 5th birthday... in various orders depending on the location. In some cultures it's a big deal to have multiple kids and if you don't it's seen as weird. I doubt it's that they get pregnant more easily.

Twinning sounds genetic - fraternal twins = releasing two eggs. I'm pretty sure that's hereditary but I could be wrong.

S. vs. *all* women in other countries. If most women in an African country are trying to get pregnant and most women here aren't, it makes sense that the African country's numbers of kids would be much higher, right? That's not a question of fertility potential/ability.

No, but I doubt most women in any country are trying to get pregnant. Even in less developed nations like Singapore Cambodia Vietnam Taiwan where modern birth control is not used often and used often they're fertility rates are much lower. Also in South Africa birth control is used higher on average, but again their fertility is higher.

Every woman is different so it doesn't mean that they are more fertile. The countries that are high up on the pics that you posted are on the poorer side. Most African countries believe that men are superior to women so the goal of most poeple are to have many boys rather than girls. This is because the men are the ones who make the money while the women stay home. Usually, the parents move in with their son and daughter in law. So the more children you have, the greater the chance of having a boy and the better off you are when your older.
