What should I do about my sister?

She is 16 and I caught her butt naked stripping for strangers on Periscope like 15 minutes ago. We are home alone and I told her to put some fucking clothes on and what the hell is she thinking. I found her Periscope account and it has 28k followers so I'm pretty sure this isn't new. She is in her room a lot. Earlier today she recorded her shaking her bare butt and fingering herself. She shows her face in the scopes. She also showed herself changing her bloody tampon. Eww! She is exposing herself to god knows who. I told her you never know whose watching and people are screens hotting the pictures and you dont know what they are doing with them. My parents know she Periscopes but doesn't know she gets naked on there. I texted my mom and she doesn't believe me. I would show her the Periscope account but my sister saw I viewed the replays and deleted the broadcasts. I think its appalling and disgusting. I don't know why she is doing this. What should I do about her? I seriously don't want this to come back and bite her in the ass when she's older.

  • Well that is just wrong. But don't make her sound stupid for it. She won't heed your advice then. If she has a webcam take it away. A 16 year old does not need one anyways. Get her to at least wear a mask or something. If she keeps doing it get her one as a gift for her future's sake.
    Right now she is getting off on the idea that poeple like seeing her naked. Which is good at her age self image wise. 28k is a huge amount of poeple. If she was 18 I would suggest that she tries getting a job ask a professional webcam girl. However she is still at least 2 years away from 18. If you have an image of her naked from her account show your parents or wait and take a photo of her when she is online naked. If necessary get the police to scare some sense into her. Honestly the police like getting requests like that it helps break up their month. What she is doing now is illegal child porn and it is a very serious crime!

  • Thats absolutely appalling. I have a daughter around her age and thankfully she doesn't have that Periscope app. If I ever caught her doing that, there would be serious hell to pay. Grounded with NOTHING. The account WILL be deleted. NO phone, NO internet, NO friends, NO leaving the house, NO fun what so ever until you can learn how to act like a civilized adult. Granted, she's 16 but she's two years away from being an adult and most likely wants to be treated like one. With freedom comes consequences.

  • I never heard of Periscope till this question. Read a little about it and and amazed that the company cares so little about the abuse by minors that is happening. You will not get help from them. As suggested on here, you need to make a fake account, screen shot her, and prove to your parents what is going on, including that your location is available to all watching. There is so much that could go wrong with this!
