It has been my experience males are put off by the idea of having sex with a girl while she’s on her period and it could be for various reasons as to them just having the personal preference of it being unclean, because that’s when a girl is expelling the after effects of being on her menstrual cycle, or it could be they were taught it was wrong; the whole nature versus nurture, or they could have learned it from a health class when they were young. Whatever the case may be, something about it puts them off and they don’t like it.

However, when it comes to having sex with a virgin, it doesn’t hold the same negative connotation, because in their minds it isn’t the same. They are ‘making her a woman’ or deflowering her and to most males this is a very stimulating and alluring aspect of the whole female/male dynamics and they’re thinking about the actual sex part and not the part where the girl is going to be bleeding when they rupture her hymen. It really is all mental in the head of the male in question.

Personally, menstrual blood or virgin blood, it doesn’t affect me or concern me either way. I’ve been with virgins and had intercourse with females while they were on their period and if you don’t let it bother you then it doesn’t bother you; it’s as simplistic as that. Especially if the girl you’re with doesn’t worry about it either, then you shouldn’t be concerned with it and just focus on satisfying each other and having fun and making sure you each enjoy the sex overall. To me that should be the bottom line.

it's the idea of it. my ex's were excited to see bloodstains on the sheets from sex (i bled several times from sex, it was not period blood) but they found period blood to be gross. period blood is not the same as blood from abrasions.
