Uh... when I change in front of my friends it isn't for sexual pleasure? It's because I need to change and I literally don't care if they see me naked. Same way I don't care if my mom sees me naked, or the doctor.
I don't kiss my friends on the cheek regularly but I have for pictures. Like my friends bridal pictures, I kissed her cheek. It was cute. It's just an affectionate thing, it isn't sexual.
The thing is, girls can be freely affectionate with whoever they choose without being labeled gay or creepy. It's a cultural thing.
In some places, men kiss each other on the cheek. Again, it's a cultural thing.
As for showering together, most girls won't do that and they think it's weird. I've showered with a couple female friends. Tbh I have no idea why, just kinda happened, I didn't do it for a sexual reason nor did I enjoy it. When I've told other girls I did that they're like oh my god are you gay. I know you probably watch pornos where girls all shower together and lick chocolate off each other so you think that's extremely common but like.. it isn't.
Because we don't have sex on our minds 24/7 like guys do. We can be affectionate without it being sexual, we know when something is sexual and when it's not. If I have to change in front of my friends or family I sure as hell am not trying to seduce them or something. Life doesn't revolve around sex, I can see a girl in her underwear or kiss her cheek or something without being sexually or romantically attracted to them.
Also, most of the time those kind of things are only done with close friends or family, not strangers or acquaintances, which makes a big difference. Mostly though, we just know when something is sexual and when it's not, guys don't really have that filter - they just see most things as sexual, it's how they've been raised.
Kissing on cheek is just an affection thing and nothing sexual. I have lost count of the amount of cheek kissing pictures I have with my girl friends. 😂
I think girls are just so much more comfortable with platonic intimacy, like we always walk around arm in arm, hand in hand, we can dance all sexual on each other at the club because it's just fun lol, we compliment each other a lot without coming across like we like them sexually, we'll be like "damn yo ass girl" and ish. 😂
Some guys masculinity is just so fragile that they feel so insecure if they come across as being gay if they give a compliment, hug or kiss on the cheek or whatnot.
Because girls aren't raised with the notion that being comfortable with other females is a sign that you're gay and will get you made fun of. Guys have anti-homosexuality shit shoved in their faces from birth. So, they have been conditioned to feel the need to say "no homo" constantly, lest someone think they're gay.
Also, it's worth mentioning that women who are actually gay aren't demonized for it nearly as much as men.
Around 80% of girls are some degree of bisexual even if they would never be sexual involved with another girl. Evolutionarily, it was advantageous for girls to be turned on by other girls, as their goal was just to get pregnant, so if the girl next to you is getting reamed by the alpha, that should make you want the same thing. In contrast, guys evolved to compete with each other, which has lead to a stigma toward that kind of behavior amongst us in modern day.
