Am I reading too much into this? Why would he turn down a blow job?

So, my boyfriend almost never turns down sex of any kind. We take turns initiating usually. Well, we haven't done anything at all in a week (a long time for us) and last night while we were watching TV, I started massaging his dick with my hand, and he didn't stop me. Once he was sort of hard, I put my head in his lap and started pulling his shorts down to suck his dick... and for some reason, he grabbed the front of his shorts and stopped me. And then he said "Not right now." Then he started rubbing my back and loving on me and went back to watching the show like nothing happened. I might be paranoid, but I feel like I just don't turn him on lately? I got a haircut two weeks ago, really short. I don't think he likes it. Could I be unattractive to him now? Is that ridiculous? Am I overreacting? I'm dying to get some action here.. I can't just go weeks without fucking... What are some reasons for him not to initiate sex in so long, and why would he turn down a blow job? I don't understand. We've been together two years by the way.

  • Maybe, he simply wasn't in the the mood? That happens sometimes. Just because we're guys doesn't mean we have to say yes 100% of the time. OR
    Maybe he didn't shower and felt he was sweaty our something

    • I didn't think about the shower thing. We had been out all day and he hadn't taken one yet, so that could be it. Plus I'm like that too if I haven't showered I don't want anyones mouth near there either lol

    Still, I doubt it would put me off sex like this. More likely he is just tired or under stress...

    • I did. He denied it being anything, he just said he wasn't in the mood. But I know that if he was starting to be less attracted to me he'd be too polite to say so. He wouldn't hurt my feelings. He's very loving and respectful. He just doesn't seem to want me lately and he won't say why.

    • Unless he suddenly turned gay in the last week I doubt it. We had a consistent sex life until past week.
