Why do straight women find men's bodies sexually attractive?

Don't tell me because they are straight, a lot of "straight" women find women more aesthetically appealing than men yet claim they are sexually attracted to men, how can they find men sexually attractive when they think men aren't as aesthetically appealing as women? Do women only care about how well we can satisfy a woman in bed, is that all? To be sexually attracted to someone you need to find them aesthetically appealing as well. Why don't these "straight" women have sex with women instead?

Well, women are pretty and have soft lines and can look very beautiful. But men have more rugged and powerful lines to their bodies (I'm talking about the "ideal" body shapes here in both cases) and look amazingly "beautiful" and attractive in their different way. I think it might be because women can appreciate the female and male form more than men. With men (unless you're gay) its normally only the female form they can appreciate. I think a man's body is the epitome of the human form and, well, just perfect. It speaks of power and perfect proprtion in my opinion. No, they're different. On average I think its easier to find a stunning girl than a stunning guy. So, on average I think the female gender does have more beauty, but a beautiful man is just so amazing and beautiful and hot. To us their form is more attractive sexually than a woman's - its in built in us.

Well, I'm not a straight woman, but I can find both men and women sexually attractive. I do find women more attractive, but also feel they are more difficult to be in a relationship with, at least from my experience. So part of the appeal of a man to me is that aspect, not so much the purely physical appearance because i think most men and women regardless of their sexual preference can recognize that females are more attractive physically. I've talked to enough straight women and gay men to know that most of them even think that.

Finding something aesthetically pleasing is not the same as being sexually attracted to it... Though the female form IS more elegant, I still find the male body more arousing.

When it comes to sex, women also tend to be less visual than men. Our pleasure comes from abstract ideas rather than images alone--which is why a lot of women read literotica instead of watching porn.

I should add that sometimes women are more intrigued by the female body because they're always relentlessly comparing other women to themselves.

I do, but it's just that from an 'artsy' stance, women's bodies are more beautiful. I talked about this with my art teacher (he's gay) and he agreed. Straight women find men physically attractive because they're attracted to their masculinity. Unlike women they are broad shouldered, taller and stronger. Well firstly, if a woman thinks that women's bodies are more aesthetically pleasing than a male's, that does not mean she doesn't think male bodies are aesthetically pleasing. It only means they think more so of women's bodies. Second, maybe some women feel that way, but certainly not all women. I know many women who find both male and female bodies aesthetically appealing but are only sexually attracted to men. As for personality, I think it does play a big role in attraction for some women in some of their relationships but definitely not all women in every single one of their relationships. For me personally, I will be way more attracted to my boyfriend or someone I am interested in pursuing romantically if they have an awesome personality, but I don't really care about my one night stand's personality - I only ask that he's hot!
