One night stand pregnancy, what do I do?

Recently met this girl, she was fun to hang out with, she had just moved to the city and didn't really know anywhere except for work and where she lived. We kind of work together and she is new. At the time we worked in close proximity with each other we talked a lot and laughed a lot and inevitably started to like each other. In my case, it was a sexual attraction but i think she liked me more than that and we kept talking about having sex but never really doing it. We hung out after work occasionally and it was fun, she had a lot of energy and i liked watching her be the center of attraction. One day we decided to do something big and go all out so I got a room close to the bars and hotspots, even better, the place had a shuttle that would take you anywhere and bring you back so that eliminated driving. We went out and we had an absolute blast including karaoke which she liked doing. We got bak to the room and still in the heat of the moment had sex. Halfway through the alcohol must have faded and senses were returning and so we stopped, no climax. The next day, we checked out and went back to our usual hanging out. Two weeks later she tells me she was beginning to feel nauseous and was having those symptoms, she has two kids already but they are in a different city where she is from and those are with her mother because she couldnt take care of them, so she knows what pregnancy feels like. With this girl, i didn't take any precautions or anything, and i always do. For years I've thought with the head on my shoulders and always known to have certain discussions before engaging in sexual activity. Now after one night with no climax, there is a possibility of pregnancy. I am hoping it is her hormones just going wild as she hadn't had sex with anyone for a long time and i have purchased a very expensive pregnancy test kit for her to use to make sure. Reflecting back on my idiocy, i know i messed up so, just need ideas should she actually be pregnant.

Well, according to her, she had had sex with her ex before me and she was drunk and he came in her. I was wondering why she was telling me i'd hate her if she told me and it turns out she thought i would be mad at her for having sex with someone else while we were supposedly "talking".

  • You can only test for pregnancy a week after your missed period and symptoms like morning sickness don't happen that fast usually.

    I knew I was pregnant before my test turned positive but the timing seems a little fast. She would have needed to conceive right before her period.

    You didn't ejaculate so that also seems a little strange.

    But let's say she is pregnant - you might as well support her and ask for medical advice regarding chances of you actually being the father.

    You had unprotected sex so you don't want to assume the worst in case you actually are the father.
    Having a baby is a wonderful thing so don't be too worried. Worst things could happen from unprotected sex!

    If you genuinely like her, I would recommend working on your friendship and perhaps a romantic relationship.

    You were both irresponsible and now these are the consequences but great things can happen from the unexpected.

  • there's an issue here, you said two weeks after the sex she felt sick? "Morning" sickness does NOT kick in until week 5 or 6 of pregnancy not two weeks after sex. So she is either pregnant by someone else or she is sick for other reasons. Everyone in this predicament needs to know that.

  • One thing girls should do is track their period and the days they had sex. Ask her if she tracking that shit.

    - Telll her he loves her and wants to be with her forever, blah blah
    - Talk about how he wants a family really bad but its not in the best interest of the child or their family to have him so young
    - You want to have a house, white picket fence and all that
    - Convince her this is the way to do it and that you'll wait for her once SHE gets HER career established and has achieved her dreams
    - Take her to the clinic and get that shit sucked out
    - Go to mcdonalds afterwards and get her an egg mcmuffin
    - DUMP THAT BITCH and count your lucky stars

    If that doesn't work, get a paternity test. 1 out of 5 times you might be lucky and not be the father. If it's your child, you're legally responsible to pay for child support for the next 18 years for 10 seconds of orgasm. Hope it was worth it buddy!

  • Two weeks is the normal time frame for symptoms to start.. so it's possible, but she could just have the stomach flu or something. Or she could be imagining it because she was thinking about the possibility of being pregnant--the placebo effect basically. Hard to say without a test. But you don't need the expensive ones. Just get a box with 2 or 3 tests and have her take two of them a week apart just to be sure (sometimes if it's too early she can get a false negative).

    I'm going to school to be an obstetrician lol so I've researched the subject. Hopefully it's a false alarm considering she already has two kids she doesn't raise... that could be all bad.

    • well i hope so and im still taking steps to make sure even if she claims her symptoms don't start till 4 weeks, i know they can start as early as two.

    Yes she can be pregnant even with no climax. Hopefully she is just having an hormonal imbalance or something. I don't see how you didn't think getting a room and go out drinking might lead to this though.

    • we are getting along just fine. slightly awkward though because i still think its mine. I talked to her thoroughly when she said she didn't want me to hate her and I told her that the only reason I would hate her would be if it was mine and she didn't tell me. and eventually dragged me into fatherhood after the baby was born.
