Holding hands during sex?

Is there any particular reason why a guy would like to hold hands during sex? (And I don't mean the aggressive, restrictive way, either, I mean just holding your hand)... Just curious

From my perspective, I would surmise it is for the loving gesture of the action over anything else; taking the aggressive, dominant, type out of the equation, I would hazard a guess it is because the two really enjoy touching each other, the male is more open with his physical contact, and it is a sweet, affectionate thing to do while having sex. That would be my point of view on this.

I think that's supposed to be a gesture of profound intimacy, fellowship, trust, love, all that jazz. Maybe his soul and heart haven't been crushed by the slings and arrows of this modern world and he still feels an emotional connection when he engages in the sex act. Call it a vestigial holdover from our primitive past, when men and women made love under the stars.

I had the most romantic sex repeatedly with a guy who didn't want to date me. Along with cuddling, kissing, holding hands, talking all day, etc.

All I can say is that you can't really ever guess without talking about it.

Holding hands is great, but not so sure about during sex. I would want her to be doing something more erotic. Putting her fingers into my mouth for a finger job tops my list.
