What Happens if a Minor Rapes an Adult?

I didn't see much on the internet about this, so I thought I would ask here.

Normally if an Adult has relations with a minor, the adult is automatically charged with rape because the minor cannot legally give consent.

So I was wondering, what would happen to the adult if they get raped by a minor?

Would they still be charged?

They would get charged, but they might get reduced sentence for being minor, anyway it's rarely happen, as minors, tend to be weaker, more innocent, and not having such an sexual interest in adults, especially very old adults, people get weaker when they are too old, but they get much less attractive along with it.

I assume you're talking about a case where someone under the legal age of consent uses force or threats to have sex with a non-consenting individual who is over the age of consent.

The older victim is not charged, assuming those facts are understood. The minor would be charged, potentially as an adult, for the crime.

It'd get treated like any rape case, except the minor would not be named. I've heard of many cases of it, if it did happen to you or someone you know please go to the police with the clothes you were wearing hopefully you/person haven't washed them , they will want to do body swabs and take photos of any marks/bruises/cuts on the body as well.

Yes , many people haven't that's why a television programme in the UK did a story line on it to promote awareness that anybody not matter what the age can be raped/rape others. People should not be ashamed/scared in the fact that they have been over powered by a minor or any other person.

The adult would be safe and wouldn't get charged if proven innocent just like the minor would but they'd be innocent until proven guilty.

That's what should happen but I couldn't find an answer to this. Has me so confused lol. All I know is any sexual act between a minor and an adult is considered sexual assault. Hopefully we can get a good answer here!

what i'm wondering is how is the guilt determined. how do you prove that the minor is the one who raped. because if you don't then it's automatically statutory rape

17 is past the age of consent in most countries, but lets say it's 18 in your case. You would go to jail for her raping you.
