Should I be concerned my boyfriend thinks my mom is attractive?

Question

Several weeks ago my boyfriend and I went to the beach to spend some time with my mother at her place. While there my mother and I did some sunbathing in the backyard topless while he was gone , or so we thought. I came in to grab some lemonade and he was inside. It looked like he was covering up an erection but I couldn't tell very well, but he really wanted sex once I came back in (when I walked back out I told Mom to put her top on).
Also Mom pulled out a photo album and she looked a lot like me at my age. My boyfriend said later he hopes I look a lot like her when I get to be her age.
Should I be alarmed he finds my mom attractive? I don't want to freak out over nothing it just seems weird for some reason

This happened to you because a lot of guys look at our moms and think that's „the future”. In somecases that is true. But in other cases it's not. Not all women inherit the physical attributes of their mothers. Grandmothers and such matter as well. Plus, it has a lot to do with taking care of oneself, so if someone's mom has neglected herself over the years, her daughter might take better care of that and it can make a huge difference.

There are all the best best indications of a guy in love/lust as prime candidate for marriage someday. 2 points deducted for spying on topless mom but if you both really cared about being ogled, doors would have been locked.

Look two sexy topless women will get most men a boner so don't freak over that. And if he says he hopes you look as good as your mom that's a good thing, cause you probably will do you know you'll keep his interest as you grow older

I think you seriously over reacting. He's not making moves on your mom. He's using what he sees appropriately: they say the best way to know your lady 25 years from now is to know her mom. He's complimenting your mom and telling you how happy he'll be if you take care of yourself and follow in her footsteps.

a lot of women grow up to look like their mothers. some guys look at the mothers of women they're dating to get a feel for how he might expect her to look in the future.
if he thinks your mother is attractive, that makes you more appealing to him, because if he expects you to age similarly, than in the long term, you will be someone he is still attracted to, 20, 30 years down the line.

Your mother might be attractive for her age, but it's very rare for an young guy to be attracted to older woman more then to younger one, when he have a choice. You are your mother's daughter, you have her genes, and you are younger version of her, so you are clearly having the edge. Also it's likely that your boyfriend mean that he hope that you would be able to keep an quite good looks at your mother age, just like your mother, and not that your mother is better looking then you, which is frankly don't make a sense. You are likely to look almost like your mother when you get older, so in some sense you should feel happy that your man is still going to like your body even at that age.

I understand why it would be alarming and a bit uncomfortable, because I would feel the same way in your shoes. However, if you trust him, and he remains loyal (as well as censored), then you should take comfort in the fact that he will still be attracted to you when you age.

U r 30+ so ur mom must be 50+... and I don't think having a 30+ girlfriend someone would go for her mom. It can only happen if ur boyfriend is sick (no offense) ... but I don't think ur choice will be that... so why worry... keep sunbathing... Lol
