Why are men more desperate for sex?

As a guy
I admit that I'm desperate for sex, but I can blame it on my hormones.

However
Guys a bit older than me can't
And they're still desperate but women aren't?

I thought it was because women could get
Sex anytime they wanted, but women shot that down.
I thought it was because men had higher libido than men , but that was also shot down

So what's the explanation?

You can't say men aren't more desperate then women
That's why we have so many
Prostitutes, porn stars, escorts, cam models, Instagram models and many many more. There's just something so addictive about the female body, personality , touch, and sound that make men desperate.

I'm not saying women can't be desperate for sex but how many women do you know would pay for a male hooker for self satisfaction compared to the amount of men who would?

They know men are desperate.

Woman love sex but it is also attached something more then just a psychical desire. Plus, society puts it on women's shoulders to be more responsible sexually unless we want a bad reputation. So many guys care about numbers so you have to work on keeping them low... if every notch hurt your chances at a partner later you'd become extremely picky too or decide that you don't want a family and a partner so you could scratch your current itch but where does that leave you long term?

Also, girls, if they did that would be considered 'sluts' and frowned upon. This is why most girls don't order male prostitutes or sleep around.

I have a friend that's a girl. She got called a whore just for turning down a guy. Men see women as being more loose, especially if they're attractive. It seems to be more of a dominant male thing if you have higher number of women the man has slept with. I don't see men desiring sex more than women. It's just society fucking with your perspective on the matter

Women crave sex as well but at the same time they feel like they have to be selective and that counterbalances their desperation. Men don't have that selectivity impulse anywhere near as much so it's much more visible when a man is sexually frustrated while a woman can also more easily find a hot man (out of her league if it wasn't for the fact he's drunk and just looking for casual sex) to have casual sex with.

According to published science, yes. It is all due to testosterone. That is why eunuchs are castrated. No balls = no testosterone = no interest in fucking the females. I have heard of men who have had themselves castrated to remove their interest in women, after their heart was broken one time too many.

Testosterone is also the reason why it's easier for men to lose weight.
