My boyfriend and I just had sex for the first time ever about an hour ago. It was not expected but it happened and he used a condom, he might as well have not. Can you believe, he ejaculated in the condom, he says, in all I really couldnt feel anything.. Guys im literally crying right now, pleSe no rude comments. So he went to pull out and the condom was gone.. I guess it slid off and well you know, cum got on me. He said "are you kiddincg me" I thought he was joking and I started crying when I realized he was being serious. We both had enough money and I just sent him to buy plan b. I'm fucking terrified that it won't work. When is it best to take it? How effective is it? Will it work if I take it like 2 hours after unprotected sex? How many pills does it come with? If there's 2 should I take them at the same time? Is it ok to crush them? I can't swallow pills... but if you can't crush them then im gonna shove those suckers down my theoat but please help anybody im so scared.

It happened to me and my girlfriend. It was because condom was too small. She took plan B and no baby inside, you'll be fine. About timing. It depends which pill you using. Some works till 24 hrs some till 72 hrs after intercouse. But you saying you took it 2 hrs after the so you will be definitely fine. Plan B can make a mess with your period, so don't be surprised if you'll have your period in unexpected time. by the way, I've never heard of case when plan B doesn't work. So nothing to worry about. Next time just make sure that you guys using good size of condom.

Thank you so much, this was really the most helpful. I took plan b one step about 2 and a half hours after sex. I did read its effective up to 72 hrs but its really best to do it up to 12 hours which I did, I really hope it works. My period was already a week late but its always been irregular so I probably won't be that surprised even though I might still worry but I'm trying to remain hopeful. Do you know by any chance how I'd know if it worked? Like when its best to take a hpt?

Well, if you want to be 100% sure it's worked, buy pregnancy test. But after 2 weeks, no earlier, because it's impossible to detect. Those 2 weeks you should be avoiding penetration sex of course. But like I said, no need to freak out because of pregnancy, if you took plan B, no way baby inside 😉

Yeah I plan to, Im just worried because my period was scheduled for October 22nd but it never showed.. although its always irregular so i wasn't stressing too much, i was even expecting it tomorrow maybe since last month it came a week late i was thinkingmaybe this week also, I don't know if that will change the rate of effectiveness?

If you want make your periods more regular, you should take contraceptive pills. It helps to relief period pain, skin is better too. There are pros and cons, but I would say there's more pros in general. One of the cons are you have to take a pill AT THE SAME TIME every day, otherwise efectivity of these pills is DECREASING. I don't know which country you are from, but before you start to take them, you should get tested your livers as well, because all pills are not suitable for everyone. Here in the UK GP doesn't care about testing and in the pharmacy you can get contraceptive pills for free without prescription.

Yeah, I plan on it, I really need to start thinking of that. That is what really freaks me out having to take it at the same time EVERY SINGLE DAY. I feel like i'd forget and end up in this type of situation again but its really worth the shot and I think it'd work really well.

Relax. We've all (well, many of us) have been there. When the medication arrives, go to a private place (like the bathroom) and READ all the boring information that comes with it. Follow the instructions. That's the best you can do at this point. Having a stroke over the situation won't help. Allow him to comfort you, as I suspect he is also stressed, although guys tend not to show it the same way as we do.

Yeah I got plan b about 2 and a half hours after the sex, I made sure to read the box carefully then I just took the pill with some water. I know there's lots of crazy side effects I just hope it works. It sucks this is how my first time had to be, couldn't even enjoy it due to all this but I knew there was consequences and anything could happen, I just hope it works.

So he didn't actually cum inside you? If he pulled out and did it on you and you took plan b right away, you should be fine. You won't know for sure until your next period so good luck to you. Odds are you're fine though.

Honestly, I don't even know what happened. He came inside me, in the condom. He pulled out he says the condom slid off or something and that there was nothing IN there but it was around like my but and stuff.. I got plan b and took it 2 hours after it happened. I read all about the side effects and my breasts hurt a little and my stomach too so I hope its a sign its working.

Hun plan b lasts up to 72 hours after but they say it's best used as soon as possible. Don't think they advise to crush it as it lessens the effect of it. There's one pill. And when you take it you should be fine :)

honestly just talking to my boyfriend and cuddling helped. The first couple of times I had sex I was so worried about pregnancy, but eventually you get more comfortable with it. You eventually see that you won't get pregnant every time you have sex, so you don't worry as much Also eventually I went on birth control which helped my worrying a ton

No problem. And I feel that. I didn't have sex for 6 months after my first time. it happens. Also for BC, don't be afraid to try multiple types. If one makes you feel depressed, tell your doctor and switch. That's what I had to do, but it certainly gives you an ease of mind.
