Why do guys like thick girls?

I know there are guys who prefer thin women, but I'm specifically wondering about the guys who like thick girls. Why?

Usually, thicker or more voluptuous women have a more curvy body. They have more of a shapely figure. Usually, more voluptuous women have a rounder ass or more pronounced, bigger, rounder boobs, and have a softer look to them in a sense that they have more muscle on their legs, they have more softness around their ribs and bones so they don't show as much. It's like in the renaissance era and before, the more voluptuous women were always in paintings and such, because this was at one point the sign of femininity. Rounder hips and thighs, big, full busts and cleavage and even the clothing accentuated rounder asses.
Also, I believe, on a physiological level, guys are hard wired to view the more voluptuous women as more fertile because of the bigger hips and curves and ample bosoms. Rounder faces and lips as well.

Not saying thinner women aren't hot either, but historically and biologically speaking, the more voluptuous women have been the ideal for femininity.

Depends on how "thick".  Some chub makes girls cuter and fluffier. It's like a pomeranian.  But if there's too much, it's like this thing  So it really is a matter of quantity and distribution.

Because they just do, all there is to it really. I tend to be more drawn to thinner/average girls as I age but thick is still nice depending on the girl.

It makes no sense at all to me. "thick" girls at your age will be battle tanks at 30 years old. I think it is a result of liberal feminist mental programming.
