He said I'm too horny for him?

So there's this guy, we hung out a few times with our friends during the summer. I suggested to be friends with benefits & he agreed. We would talk everyday about everything and sext everyday too. He said I was the best girl he had talked to.
We just got to make out once, though.
Flashforward to a couple of months later, we hadn't talked anymore but he suddenly started flirting with me by making prolongued eye contact all the time (I noticed it & he told my friends about it) but now I have a boyfriend & he messaged me again.

The point is, he told my girl friend the other day while staring at me, "that girl is too horny for me"
Which she just told me so I'm like wtf?
She also said she thinks another guy I sexted with thought the same thing.
I mean I kind of expected it, like I am aware of my high sex drive but I still didn't think he'd say that.
I told my boyfriend about it & he said he loves my horniness but I'm still self conscious about it now. Aren't guys generally supposed to be super horny? I don't understand.

  • I've talked about it with other people here and I'm pretty sure that women are way more horny than guys. It's normally not a problem, only if the guy is insecure and think that he can't keep up with it. Now, I don't know why he said it to your friend, it's kinda private and it's not a thing that you usually share with others.

And I agree the part about telling my friend, but we all are very open minded and tend to talk about sex a lot, and she's the one friend we both have in common so he talks to her about me sometimes and I would do the same. For example, the other day he was checking out my butt and they were talking about it too. I mean, he probably thinks she won't tell me but she does xD

  • Not all guys can handle a girl with a high sex drive compared to their own,. In some case it freaks the guy out that a girl has a high sex drive, but me personally I like it, to be able to know that she can keep up with me when I'm really horny or what not it makes me feel good to know that.

  • Believe it or not. Guys don't think 24/7 about sex. Additionally a too high sex drive can be either intimidating to a guy feeling unable to satisfy the girls drive - and/or can hint to an overcompensation for mental illness (hypersexuality is a common symptom of some illnesses). Both make guys kinda pull back.
